Bet you thought the flamingo had flown away and left the flock. Actually my Dad, who had been quite ill for a long time, died on July 3. He will be missed, but he is in a better place now and the pain and suffering is gone. It has been a roller coaster couple of weeks. A word of advise to anyone with a loved one who has been in the military and wants their loved one buried in a military cemetery ... know the location of ALL pages of their discharge papers before hand. We didn't know we were missing a page. Our problem has now been resolved and the burial will now occur but the mortuary and myself spent quite a lot of time on the project. Of course after the fact the missing papers were discovered.
Anyway I combined 365 Cards Day 134 Super Sketchy Sunday with Rubbernecker's Wacky Wednesday #19 Color Challenge, "pink, purple and green", to make a sympathy card since I have seen a good number of those here lately.
