Flight of Challenge (Rubbernecker Wacky Wed. #16)

Today I took a vacation from Piling It On! and made one card using one challenge. I know you are probably disappointed but I didn't want any ribbon on this card so I couldn't Pile It On! today . What you see here is the front (middle) and inside (bottom) of my entry for the Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday #16, make a card that contains ovals. On top is my inspiration for the card, a panda I met at the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center in China last October. The bamboo forest background was created first by applying assorted alcohol inks and Marvy Metallic marker in green to Kromecote paper and then giving it a blast with canned air. That resulted in a blob and a headache as that canned air stuff contains something that smells like cleaning fluid. To get a better bamboo forest-like effect I then applied more alcohol ink using the "squirt on felt, spritz with 99% isopropyl alcohol, pounce on
white glossy paper" method. This gave me a more pleasant result that really does resemble the lush bamboo forests.
