Today is the birthday of the beloved member of the Fine Feathered Friends of Flamingos, Gummi Goomi. Happy Birthday Gummi Goomi! The card was made on time but it won't arrive for a few days so she and everybody else can enjoy it here.
The photos, the card designs, the text, the whole shebang, is all the creative property of "NWFlamingo". Everything is shared for personal/inspirational use and non-commercial applications. That means you can't copy it for classes or contests too. Thanks for understanding!
I am currently a rubber stamper, paper artist, calligrapher, and sometimes I am a teacher of those. I am also a church organist, world traveller and the only member of the mail art group the Fine Feathered Friends of Flamingoes (FFF of F) that resides in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America. I am a retired science teacher. I stand on two legs and I am pink only when sunburned. The first flamingoes I saw in the wild were of the species Phoenicopterus ruber ruber (common name, Caribbean Flamingo). I saw these twice on the Galapagos Islands which are in the Pacific Ocean and not in the Caribbean Sea.
