Flight of Celebration (Seven Days of making merry!)

Can you believe it happened again? Another day of making merry with the Stampendous Mega Merry stamp. Today I colored in blues, combining Copic markers with Adirondack Refillable Alcohol Pens. The "christmas" stamp on the inside is from the Mega Merry set and the stamped snowflake background is from Hero Arts. The embossed snowflake background is a Spellbinders Snowflake Impressabilities and the silver snowflake is cut from Spellbinders "Create a Flake 1" Die. The inside "flake" was of course cut by hand around the snowflake "waste". Please don't have a blue Christmas just because I colored in blue!

And let there be a decree that we will have seven days of making merry with the Stampendous Mega Merry. Today Mega Merry is joined by Stampendous Short Elf and on the inside Merry Elf wish. Mega Merry and short elf are colored with a combination of Copic markers and Adirondack Alcohol Ink Refillable pens. Add a little Polar White Flowersoft to elf's wardrobe, and a plaid paper background (nothing says Christmas like PLAID) and we're ready to welcome the Christmas holiday in style.

(I'm not sure what that strange figure is on the shiny black cardstock on the inside of the card. Perhaps it is just the ghost of Christmas past making merry too!)

Flight of Celebration

Here is a card for a friend's November birthday (front on top). I found an image of candy corn online and printed it and cut out the leaf shapes with the Cricut, and the cupcakes with an EKSuccess border punch. The tree and words are also from a Cricut cartridge but I'm not close to the Cricut to see which cartridge. The ribbon is by Offray and the front of the card is embossed with a Spellbinders Paisley Impressabilities (though you parobably can't see that in the scan).

Flight of Halloween Eve... part two

Continuing from the last post this is actually the second page of the book (with the ravens) and the pocket page showing parts of the fronts of the two tags. The pocket page opens out to show the two page spread in the last post. I used the new Spellbinders Halloween dies on the tag fronts as well as the cool Martha Stewart spider web punch.
Here is the back of the book. If you click on the pictures to make them larger you may notice the left knee has a different joint. This is because the little orange eyelets are way too small for this weight of cardstock and his lower leg bone kept popping off until I used a tiny gold brad. I told my son (who of course commented on it first thing!) the skeleton had had knee replacement surgery. HA!

So here is the front cover of a Halloween mini-book I made for my son. It started out life as a make and take that never was finished from several years ago. Featured is the "Boogie Man".

Of course he is dancing, what else would the Boogie Man do?
Here are a couple more pages from the book. I didn't get my pictures in order. Of course the book is "from Mummy".
One page in the book has a pocket with two tags. Here you can see the pocket and the back of the two tags. Only a boy would want you to smell his feet on October 31. I'll finish off the rest of the pages in the next post.
